A Spontaneous Annapolis, Maryland Trip!

July 23, 2017

I would not like to call myself a "spontaneous person". I like to have a bit control of the situation, and also a creature of habit. But whenever I do take the opportunity to DO something spontaneous, I question "WHY DON'T I DO THIS MORE?!". The other weekend, I just got back home late after photographing the beautiful Wilson Wedding. After propping my sore feet up on the coffee table, Dan goes and pours me a big glass of wine (I know, amazing). I told him earlier in the week that we could do whatever he wanted on Sunday as I had nothing planned. At 1am in the morning, he asked if we could go to Annapolis for the day. And... we did! We loved walking through the Naval Academy and the town so much, we are going to make a weekend of it and stop at some breweries on the way. My favorite part was having a late lunch right on the water at Carol's Creek Cafe. Here are some pictures from our mini trip!

It is the little reminders like this that tell me I need to be more spontaneous.
