Fun fact: I cry once at every wedding.
I must have cried four times at the Bruno’s wedding. Stephanie and I become neighbors when I was in 6th or 7th grade. She still has a scar on her leg from playing manhunt in my backyard a few weeks after she moved in. We have one of those friendships that even though we do not talk every week, it is a lasting one. When Christian, Stephanie and I met for their pre consultation, Stephanie already had in mind I HAD to photograph their wedding. Their engagement session of course was a lot of fun, especially with their two dogs. But their wedding day… that was magical. Watching her mom and step dad start tearing up when they saw her with her hair and makeup done… the feelings that their oldest daughter was getting married came rushing to them. There was not a dry eye in the room (especially mine) when Steph put on her wedding dress. Christian was surrounded by a group of great guys who really made the day fun. Steph was all nervous and anxious to see Christian. As soon as they saw each other during their first look, all of those feelings washed away. Their bridal party was one of the books. 18 people total and all were AWESOME. And talk about setting the bar high for a first dance?! These two were practicing for weeks and it was amazing. Their wedding at William Penn Inn was beautiful, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them.
